Horsell Prepared Planning Meeting

Horsell Prepared Planning Meeting

All Horsell residents and traders welcome to this planning meeting for how to make our community more resilient.

We hold these meetings monthly, usually on the 2nd Monday of each month. Anyone is welcome if they are interested in helping the community to prepare for emergencies or incidents.

This is a planning meeting, so our agenda includes:

  • Reviewing risks to the local community
  • Reviewing and improving our processes (including technology) to respond to incidents
  • How to communicate resilience messages to local residents
  • What training we can offer to local residents eg First Aid, Safeguarding
  • How we can work with other local organisations (Neighbourhood Watch, Woodlanders, WI, Local Schools, Churches, etc, etc) to improve our community's resilience
  • How we can test our processes and practise for emergencies
  • What preventative actions we might be able to take as a community
If you feel you have something to contribute, or are just curious, come along and join in the discussion.

The venue is not yet decided, so please email us if you'd like to come and would like to join our mailing list to find out the exact place. Email
